Vidya — Sponsor a Child's Education in India
The Vidya programme covers the direct costs that prevent children in India from attending school — school fees, books, and uniforms. When a family cannot afford these, a child drops out. Vidya closes that gap.
What Vidya covers.
Sponsoring a child’s education through Vidya means covering the real, verified costs that stand between a child and their schooling:
- School fees — tuition and registration
- Books and stationery — the materials required by the school
- School uniform — required by most schools in India, and often a barrier for low-income families
We work directly with the families and, where possible, the schools to verify costs and make payments that go to education — not administration.
